Terms of Service
If something here is unclear, email us and a person will reply.
Cordial Conference is a service of Timothy C Litwiller, a sole proprietorship, at 4314 Sunflower Rd, Evans, CO 80620, USA. "Cordial Conference" is the trading name; there is no separate company behind it. Reach a person at info@cordialconference.com.
Cordial Conference is a platform for organizing church and school meetings: registration, lodging, meals, rides, name tags and the messages that hold a meeting week together. Committees open accounts; guests, schools and hosts use the forms and links a committee shares with them, without accounts of their own.
A committee's account belongs to the meeting or congregation it was opened for. Keep your sign-in details to your own team, and tell us if you believe someone else has them. You are responsible for what is done under your account by the people you invite to it.
Plans and their prices are shown before anything is bought. Conference fees paid by schools and attendees flow through your own Stripe or PayPal account directly to your meeting — they are your money and never pass through ours. Optional add-ons, such as text messaging, are billed for what is actually used, at the rates shown when you switch them on.
Everything entered for your meeting belongs to your meeting. We host it, back it up, and keep it between years so a returning meeting finds its own records — and we use it for nothing except running your meeting. The details are in our privacy policy, and how texting works is in the text message policy; both are part of these terms.
Use the platform for real meetings and lawful purposes. Do not use our messaging to send anything the recipients did not sign up for — the texting consent people gave was for their meeting, and nothing else. Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service or with other meetings' data.
We work to keep the platform fast, backed up, and online, and when something breaks we say so and fix it. But no online service can promise it will never be interrupted, and we do not. Timetables, reminders and ride tracking are aids to your travel, not a guarantee of it — flights, weather and traffic remain what they are, and getting to your gate on time remains your own responsibility. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what the meeting paid us in the year the issue arose.
A committee may close its account whenever it wishes and take its data with it. We may suspend an account that is breaking these terms, and we will say why. Neither of us needs a lawyer's letter for any of it.
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date, and account holders are emailed about anything material. Using the platform after a change means the current version applies.
